OREANDA-NEWS  On 28 October was announced, that during the first nine months of 2008, the pulp and paper output of Ilim Group enterprises integrated into Ilim West business unit (the Koryazhma Branch) amounted to 753.2 thousand tons, i.e. up 6.6% over the first nine months of 2007.

The overall output includes 274.3 thousand tons of market pulp which is up 3.3% from the same period of 2007.

Containerboard output reached 287.4 thousand tons, up 18% year-on-year.

Paper output totaled 191.6 thousand tons, down 2.9% from January — September 2007. Sack paper output amounted to 90.6 thousand tons, offset paper — 79.3 thousand tons, wallpaper — 21.8 thousand tons.

Pulping went up 6.3% to 824.3 thousand tons.

Volumes of timber delivery to the Koryazhma Branch of Ilim Group amounted to 3 million 868.6 thousand cubic meters, up 11.1% year-on-year.

Actual wood processing volume went up 6.8% to 3 million 339.5 thousand cubic meters (chipped wood).
