OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2009. Ukio bankas program “Advantages of the Age” opens up the possibility for seniors of paying their gas, electricity and water-supply bills without any service fee until the start of the next year, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

Special prices are applied when paying other bills by a payment card or from an account with Ukio bankas – from 1 Litas per payment. Seniors will be able to take advantage of the Bank’s program upon transferring their retirement benefits to an account or payment card with Ukio bankas. The program’s participants can pay bills either from a bank account or in cash in the Bank.

“Ukio bankas program “Advantages of the Age” offers seniors not only to use quality banking services under favourable terms but also the possibility of saving money, which is especially relevant to senior people. Implementing the program, launched a year ago, we offer special conditions to seniors until the beginning of the next year. With prices for utilities rising, Ukio bankas offers to economise on payments for utility and other services,” Balanda Bradulskiene, director of Ukio bankas Product Development Department, said.

Participants of the program “Advantages of the Age", having placed a deposit in Ukio bankas units, will receive a 0.1 percent higher annual interest on time deposits. Upon coming to the Bank’s units, seniors may have a bank account opened free of charge without any account service fees being applied and those, willing to acquire a Maestro payment card, will be issued it fee free. Furthermore, seniors may withdraw cash from their account free of charge from Ukio bankas and Nordea-Danske ATMs and at Ukio bankas cash-desks.
