OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 February 2009 was announced, that the rector of Eurasian national university named after L.Gumilev Bakhatzhan Abdraimov encourages the teachers of mathematics whose scientific researches were published in the rating magazines of the world, informs Kazinform referring to the information of web-representation of the university.

The award of 150 000 thousand tenge was given to Professor Nurlan Temirgaliev fro the publication of research in the popular mathematic journal “DIFF EQAT +” (“Differential formula”), awards of 90 000 thousand tenge to Mukhtarbay Otelbaev for the publication of material in “SIBERIAN MATH J+” (“Siberian mathematic journal”) and Erlan Nursultanov for the series of researches published in the journal “MATH NOTES+” (“Mathematic notes”).

Journal rating is calculated according to impact-factor (IF). Annually from 1960s it is calculated in the Institute of scientific information that was bought in 1992 by Thompson Scientific Corporation and is published in “Journal Citation Report” journal.
