OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 February 2009 was announced, that in 2008 the steel pipe and wheels company Interpipe invested 6,3 million USD on complex measures for labor protection and employees health.

Particularly, a complex measures on safety standard achievement, occupational hygiene and working environment, raise of labor protection level, prevention of industrial injuries, occupational diseases and accidents have been conducted.

Among the conducted projects there are also such as installment of industrial and domestic air conditioners, soda-water machines with modified filters, fire alarm system and automatic sprinkler system, repairs of doghouses, etc.

Oleg Kuzmin, Director for Corporate Affairs at Interpipe, said: “Interpipe always seeks to create such work conditions that each employee would feel protected and could realize his potential.
