OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2009. The Estonian government today ruled to add to the list of enterprise support measures a program for reputation building events and a program of export credit insurance.

The volume of the program for reputation building events is 36 million kroons (EUR 2.3 mln) and that of the export credit insurance program, 200 million kroons.

The program of reputation building events is designed to enhance enterprises' competitiveness on external markets and bring in international investments. In its framework support will be given to joint displays of the state and entrepreneurs at foreign fairs and to participation in contact events with the aim of attracting foreign investments.

The program that will open in November 2009 will be implemented by Enterprise Estonia.

The aim of the export credit insurance program is to increase entrepreneurs' export capability and improve competitiveness on foreign markets. With this end in view, exporters will be offered the possibility of insuring their export sales against commercial and political risks.

The implementer of the program and recipient of the support will be Kredex and the program will open in the fourth quarter of 2009.
