OREANDA-NEWS. January 11, 2010. On December 24, 2009 UTair Aviation board members met to discuss budget commission offers on the company’s 2010 business-plan and approved an operations program for 101 airplanes and 202 helicopters of different types.

UTair aircraft will have logged nearly 300 thousand flight hours in 2010. More than 4.8 million passengers are expected to fly UTair, 34% more than the previous year. These results will be made possible through an increase in the average capacity of aircraft and the development of UTair’s route network.

Helicopter operations a scheduled for Russia and eleven foreign countries to accommodate an expected 3.8% increase in helicopter services for 2010.

Preliminary results for 2009 and planned operations for 2010 demonstrate UTair Aviation’s commitment to rapid development and surmounting challenges. The airline’s high performance is a product of the contributions of its shareholders, management, and professional team. In 2010 the airline will focus on strategic objectives – fleet expansion, developing market share in Russia and abroad and the optimization of corporate structure.
