OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2010. 142,000 square metres of housing, including 20,000 square metres of new dwelling houses intended for residents of the dilapidated homes set to be demolished and Muscovites on the waiting list, are to be developed in the centre of Moscow this year.

According to Evgeny Lyubimov, local deputy head architect of Moscow, 184,500 square metres of housing, including 53,000 square metres of social welfare homes, were developed in the central district last year.

Mr Lyubimov emphasized that, as the mayor of Moscow had promised, the locals would be moved from the dilapidated houses to the new ones developed within the same district.
