OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2010. Kazakhtelecom (Astana), listing on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:

Kazakhtelecom, under the asset restructure strategy approved by the Board of Directors, is announcing it's seeking to sell a 77.08% share in NURSAT.

Kazakhtelecom appointed Investment Financial House RESMI as an investment advisor.

Therefore Kazakhtelecom is encouraging investors, interested in acquisition of shares of NURSAT, to show their interest and contact Eleshev Erbolat in RESMI (email: yerbolat.yeleshev@resmi.kz, tel: + 7 727 266 7077) before March 4, 2010 inclusively. Investors, selected on strategic criteria and at Kazakhtelecom's discretion, will be informed after confirmation with potential investors and receive additional information on the process and plan of sale.

Kazakhtelecom is intending to enter into a deal before the end of May 2010.
