OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2010. In 2010, capacity of engineering divisions will be raised in a brewery  of Baltika-Baku.

Director General of Baltika-Baku LLC Adam Tlehuray said  Baltika company as a major shareholder of the brewery of Baltika-Baku continues to invest in improvement of activity of the plant in Khirdalan.

“Baltika company has already carried out reconstruction of a platform. Investments amounted to USD 20 million totaling upon completion of the investment program. Presently,  work is carried out  to increase engineering capacities of the brewery. For  the purposes, extra  USD 6 million will be directed in 2010.  Work will be finished by the beginning of summer of current year,”  A. Tlehuray said.

Presently,  production capacity of Baltika-Baku brewery makes 10 million decalitres per year. Baltika purchased the  brewery in Azerbaijan in August, 2008, as a result of which, Baltika became a full owner to 90% in brewery Baku - Kastel. Baltika-Baku is the first case of opening the  plant  by Baltika beyond  Russia.
