OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. To improve the quality of its passenger services, Russian Railways has introduced a new delivery service for small items such as documents by its high-speed Sapsan trains. Documents are dispatched on the next departing Sapsan train with a maximum delivery time of 5 hours, reported the press-centre of RZD.

Documents are delivered to Moscow Station in Saint-Petersburg, to Leningrad Station in Moscow and Tver Railway Station.

The service costs 350 roubles for shipments weighing up to 0.5 kg, 400 roubles for 0.5 to 1 kg and 110 roubles for each subsequent 0.5 kg.
