OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2010. ARMADA’s (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) subsidiary 1 ranked third in the rating of Russia’s web designers in 2009—2010. The survey was conducted by the CMS Magazine analytical portal and the Rating Runet 2 project.

The rating was compiled on the basis of web designers’ active client portfolio: websites developed and maintained by the company. Among the Top 5 companies in the rating, ARMADA boasts the largest number of projects implemented for the state as a customer. Analysts estimated the country’s Internet solutions market at RUB 7.2bn (approx. USD 240m) in 2009.

ARMADA’s web design projects include portals for the Finance Ministry of Russia, Prosecutor General’s Office, the Federal Customs Service, the Government of Moscow, Gazprom Neft, Sony, Raiffeisen Bank, KNAUF, Philips, Mitsubishi Motors, Hyundai, and other long-standing partners.

Earlier this year, the company announced its inclusion in a foreign rating: Sberbank’s corporate website, also developed by ARMADA, was ranked first among all Russian portals included in the Financial Times Bowen Craggs Index 2009.

The company launched its web design business in 1998, and since that time it is one of the leaders on this growing market.
