OREANDA-NEWS. June 30, 2010. Belarusian foreign trade deficit amounted to USD 1.345 billion in January-April 2010, compared to a deficit of USD 2.067 billion in January-April 2009.

Overall turnover of commodities and services reached USD 18.48 billion in January-April 2010, up 20.8% on the year.

Exports of commodities and services increased 29.5% to USD 8.568 billion, and imports increased 14.1% to USD 9.913 billion.

Commodity trade deficit reached USD 1.962 billion in the first four months of the year (USD 7.237 billion of exports and USD 9.2 billion of imports), and service trade surplus amounted to USD 617 million (USD 1.33 billion of exports and USD 713.1 million of imports).
