OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2010. Gazpromneft-Aero has started aircraft jet fueling in Jordan. In particular, the first fueling of a Transaero aircraft was performed at the King Hussein International Airport (Aqaba). In the framework of the new project, Gazpromneft-Aero associates with World Fuel Services and Jordan Petroleum.

Jordan is the sixth international direction that Gazpromneft-Avia has developed over the last year. Aggressive growth of the company’s presence in the external jet fuel markets proves efficient ties of partnership with both Russian air carriers and overseas fuel companies”, - Gazpromneft-Aero General Director Vladimir Egorov pointed out.

Currently, Gazpromneft-Aero fuels Russian aircrafts in Tunis (Monastir), Thailand (Bangkok), Egypt (Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada), Turkey (Antalya and Dalaman), China (Beijing), and Jordan (Aqaba). Development of promising directions like Central Asia and Western Europe is projected for the near future.
