OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2010. ARMADA group of companies (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) has won the tender staged by the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia for a contract to implement a unified integrated information system for organizations engaged in the provision of public services of medical and social assessment and rehabilitation actions in three of Russia’s regions: the Tyumen region, the Republic of Khakassia, and the Udmurt Republic.

Pursuant to the contract’s terms, ARMADA will implement the unified integrated information system and develop a regulatory framework. The company will also test information interaction with the use of electronic document flow between medical and social assessment institutions and medical organizations which provide medical and disease prevention services in cases when patients are referred for medical and social assessment, as well as work out and launch the implementation of a system to receive and handle electronic requests from the public at federal state medical and social assessment institutions (including with the use of the unified portal of public and municipal e-services, www.gosuslugi.ru). As part of the project, the call center for medical and social assessment matters will be restructured as well.

In 2009, ARMADA won another open tender held by the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia for a contract to implement the system in Russia’s first comprehensive specialized institution for the disabled, which accommodated a number of medical and social assessment bureaus providing services in Krasnoyarsk and neighboring regions. In June 2010, the system won in the Top 10 IT Projects for the Public Sector competition as the Best Project of Translating Public Social Services into Electronic Format.
