OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2010. Belarus’ consumer prices went up 0.2% on the month in June 2010, compared to a rise by 0.8% in May, 0.7% in April, 1.1% in March, 0.5% in February and 0.8% in January, an official in the National Statistics Committee told.

Prices rose 4.1% in January-June 2010, compared to 7.3% in January-June 2009.

In annualized terms, that is, June on June, consumer prices rose 6.8%, which compares to 13.3% in the period June 2008 through June 2009.

Food prices rose 0.1% in June 2010 and 4.1% in January-June 2010, non-food prices went up 0.3% and 5%, and consumer services prices increased 0.3% and 3%.

In 2009, inflation accelerated 10.1%. The forecast for 2010 stands at 9%-10%.
