COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (JSC COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, announces launch of a new ‘Video-on-Demand’ service (VOD) for ‘STREAM TV-on-PC’ service subscribers in Moscow.  Now MTS STREAM subscribers can watch movies of their own choice right on the screens of their personal computers connected to the Internet.

The subscribers of ‘STREAM TV-on-PC’ service, which enables watching multi-channel digital IP TV on PC screen, have an access to a special ‘Video-on-Demand’ directory via TV user interface. Movies are requested by pressing just several keys. No additional equipment is required to access this service. VOD directory is updated weekly.

Such features as ‘Playback Pause’ and ‘Rewind’, as well as colorful trailers and title strips are now at VOD users’ disposal. The cost of the movie requested starts from 49 rubles and is withdrawn from the subscriber personal account by default.
