OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2010. IES-Holding companies have completed the preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2010-2011. Within the repair campaign they performed the whole volume of planned works on current repairs and overhauls, reconstruction and re-equipment. As of 2010 results the total volume of invested funds will make 15,9 billion rubles. This was reported to journalists by Andrey Vagner the First Vice-President / Operational Director of IES-Holding at the inter-regional selector press-conference on October 27.

Year 2010 was announced by IES-Holding as “Heat Network Year”. IES generating companies focused on reconstruction of heating systems, having significantly increased the investments for this purpose. Within the repair campaign 239km of pipelines were re-laid. This figure excessively exceeds the one of year 2009.

Overfulfilment of the target in all Divisions is explained by decision to increase the number of pipes to be re-laid under results of their inspection. In course of performing the works there were used modern materials, pipes with polyurethane foam isolation and on-line remote control systems.

During preparation for the autumn-winter period there were repaired turbo-units with total capacity of 3440MW, power boiler with total steam capacity of 20730t/hour. Besides, IES generating companies realized several technical reconstruction and re-equipment projects. Particularly, high-pressure cylinder was changed in one of turbo-units at Tolyatti CHPP. This enables to increase the installed power capacity by 10MW and to increase the life of equipment.

During the year there was also performed the target program of boiler-houses equipment modernization with total cost of 251 million rubles. It enveloped nine power plants in three generating Divisions of the Company: Kirov CHPP-5, Yoshkar-Ola CHPP, Perm CHPP-14, Perm CHPP-9, Ivanovo CHPP-3, Ivanovo CHPP-2, Penza CHPP-2, Ulyanovsk CHPP-2, Samara HydroPP.

According to the results of check-ups the majority of IES companies have already got the certificates of readiness for operation in autumn-winter period.
