OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2011. A new construction record was set in the Ural capital. Today concreting of the Iset Tower foundation which is the highest building in Yekaterinburg, has been completed. 6,647 m3 of concrete was required to grout a foundation plate with area of more than 2,700 m3 and thickness of 2.5 m at 16 m depth. As a comparison, 16-storey typical building foundation thickness does not exceed 70 cm subject to geophysical conditions.
