OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2011. For January, NEFAZ received orders from customers to the tune of 550 million roubles.

Working in two shifts, NEFAZ employees will produce 838 dump trucks which is 2.5 times more than a year ago, and 50 passenger buses (by 20% more against 2010).

For the last year, the KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan produced 855 NEFAZ-5299 passenger buses for the Russian market. Urban and suburban buses produced by NEFAZ are used in 65 regions of the country: Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai, Belgorod Oblast, Kemerovo Oblast, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Perm, etc. NEFAZ continues developing new markets.

In 2011, NEFAZ will invest 200 million roubles in technical reequipment of production which is by 33.3% more than in 2010. This year, it is planned to reconstruct an oil-loading equipment production area: to mount a girth autowelding system on a line for assembly and welding of tank bodies, to mount two robot painters in the varnish-and-paint complex of a dump trucks production unit, and to introduce one more laser system (Lang Laser) to cut nonmetals in the bus production industry. NEFAZ’s foreign partners – the leading companies from Germany, Japan and Switzerland – participate in development and implementation. In 2010, the plant invested 150 million roubles to launch the third line of the paint complex in the dump trucks production unit, and also to introduce automatic machines and a robot producing hydraulic rams.

NEFAZ expects its investments to pay off very quickly. Realizing its plans, the plant will be able to improve quality of products, raise labour productivity, and improve its workers’ labour conditions.
