OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2011.  In the summer season, Latvian national airline airBaltic will start a new route connecting the Finnish city of Oulu with Tromso in Northern Norway.

Tero Taskila, Chief Commercial Officer: “airBaltic will write history as the first carrier operating scheduled flights between Oulu and Tromso. airBaltic is expanding its route network from new Finnish hub Oulu.”

Starting from April 29, airBaltic will fly from Oulu to Tromso two times a week – Fridays and Sundays (from Tromso to Oulu – Mondays, Saturdays). Passengers will board a Bombardier Q400 aircraft for a flight that will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at EUR 49, including airport fees and transaction costs.
