In 2011, branch of IDGC North-West “Komienergo" will invest around 755 million rubles in the development of electric grids of Komi Republic. This is a 44% increase over the previous year. Investment activity of Komienergo will be aimedto increase the reliability of electricity supply to consumers while reducing power losses and lower operating costs.

For reconstruction and technical re-equipment planned to spend 524 million rubles, for new construction - about 230 million rubles. Sources of financing will be the company's own funds and the payment for technological connection.

Volume  of fixed assets in the investment program for 2011 is expected to be 715 million rubles. As a result, will be introduced about 92 km of transmission lines and more than 13 MVA, an increase of input power will be 24 km  and about 11 MVA, respectively.

The largest investment projects of Komienergo : completion of the reconstruction of 110 kV line "Mikun-soon" on site "Vozhskaya - Edva,"; reconstruction of 35 kV line in the Ukhta region, building of line 35 kV  substation 220 kV Promislovaya- PS 35 kV Bagan and extension of substation "Promislovaya", as well as the completion of construction and put in operation of air-cable line 20 kV from substation 110 kV "Sinegorye" to Ust-Tzilma with a cable passing through the Pechora River.
