OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2011. Within the framework of implementating the “New Village” social project  to help the districts of Nizhny Novgorod region that suffered from fires, Ingosstrakh OJSIC has bought four fire trucks for three regional settlements: Blizhneye-Pesochnoe, Shimorskoe and Vilya. The trucks are equipped with all the necessary modern means of fire fighting. Besides, kits of fire fighting equipment were bought to equip voluntary fire brigades of these settlements.

The trucks and the equipment have been transferred today, in the town of Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region. The event attracted such participants as head of Financial Directorate of “Basic Element” LLC, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Mikhail Volkov, General Director of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Alexander Grigoryev, Deputy General Director of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Alexey Sokolov, Head of Administration of Vyksunsky municipal district Konstantin Kaddo, representatives of regional administration, Head of Vyksunsky fire garrison of Chief Directorate of Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response in Nizhny Novgorod region colonel of internal service Sergey Sharabanov and Director of Privolzhsky regional center of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Valentina Kochkina.

“Being a socially responsible company, we could not look indifferently at the consequences of the tragic events of last summer, – says General Director of Ingosstrakh OJSIC Alexander Grigoryev. – That’s why we made a decision to equip medical and fire fighting services in villages with latest technical means in order to contribute to the creation of comfortable living standards of the village population in the region, which would comply with modern requirements”.

In his turn, the Head of Vyksunsky fire garrison Sergey Sharabanov in particular said that the transfer of all-terrain vehicles, fire-fighting equipment and turnout gear to voluntary fire-fighters is an important event, which became possible thanks to the support of Ingosstrakh OJSIC. “This is a sign that fire safety provision is a common matter! I wish you to hear the fire alarm as rarely as possible!” – added Sergey Sharabanov.

Let us remind you that Ingosstrakh OJSIC had earlier provided charitable help in the amount of over 3 mln. rubles to buy furniture, household appliances and other equipment for Creativity House and library of the village of Verkhnyaya Vereya of Vyksunsky district. This March, Ingosstrakh OJSIC branch in Nizhny Novgorod provided beneficial hull coverage for 65 "Gazel" minibuses donated to MPTF "First Aid Station", and in April it bought two new ambulances with all the necessary medical equipment for Vyksunskaya central regional hospital.
