OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2011. In April 2011 Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and JSC Belagroprombank closed the first deal for long-term financing with the attraction of foreign line of credit for a 5 year tenor under the cover of Polish insurance agency KUKE S.A within the framework of Export Support Government Program set up in the Republic of Poland. Funds are attracted for financing of agricultural equipment deliveries from the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Belarus.

BGK is the only bank in Poland which belongs to the state. The primary business objective of BGK is to provide banking services for the public finance sector through the support of the government's economic programs, as well as local government and regional development programs implemented with the use of public funds, including those of the European Union. In particular, BGK was accredited for realization of above-mentioned Export Support Government Program set up in the Republic of Poland (Government Program) which is aimed to providing financing to the buyers of Polish goods from countries important for Polish exporters such as Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. Exporters can be large and small companies.

Advantages of the Government Program for JSC Belagroprombank and its clients include relatively low cost of financing, quick process of deals approval by Polish insurance agency KUKE S.A. as well as the possibility to include insurance cover of KUKE S.A. in the amount of financing.
