OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. As compared with May, this June Azerbaijan’s oil production declined by 4.5%. This year crude oil production by all producers in Azerbaijan has totaled 178.127 million barrels against 379.2 million in 2010, 375.807 million barrels in 2009 and 332.07 million barrels in 2008.

The State Statistics Committee (SSC) informs that as of 1 July 2011 the country produced 23.877 million tons of oil that is by 5.6% less than in 2010. The country produced 3.88 million tons of oil this June versus 4.065 million in May, 3.8 million tons in April, 4.1 million tons in March, 3.85 million in February and 4.08 million in January.

Last year, oil production reached 50.8 million tons, including 4.513 million tons in August (the best index for 2010).
