OREANDA-NEWS. August 8, 2011. Belarus’ OJSC Krinitsa produced 7.116 million decaliters of beer in January-June 2011, up 6.5% on the year, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told reporters.

The Minsk-based facility increased beer production 6% to 6.866 million decaliters, the Polotsk-based branch made 249,900 decaliters, up 22.8%.

In June, beer output totaled 1.849 million decaliters, up 22.7% on the year.

Beer output in plastic bottles (76.4% of the total) went up 0.4% on the year to 5.438 million decaliters. Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles rose 20.9% to 847,600 decaliters, in kegs went up 62% to 764,200 decaliters. Beer output in aluminum cans totaled 66,900 decaliters, down 29%.

Krinitsa’s sales in January-June amounted to 5.226 million decaliters, down 0.5% on the year.

Beer deliveries in June totaled 1.295 million decaliters, up 2.5% on the year.

Exports amounted to 2.058 million decaliters, up 73.4% on the year.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OJSC Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
