OREANDA-NEWS. August 8, 2011. The Dutch dairy products manufacturer Campina, which is known in Russia for its Fruttis and Nezhnyi yogurts, shows a serious interest in the Belarusian dairy industry. Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Mikhail Rusyi informed the President of Belarus about the fact as the head of state visited OJSC Verkhnedvinsk Maslosyrzavod (Verkhnedvinsk creamery) on July 21, said the press service of the head of state.

The Minister said that with Belarusian dairy products available abroad, foreign investors show an interest in Belarus’ dairy industry. In particular, the Dutch dairy products manufacturer Campina is one of them, Rusyi said.

The minister also informed the head of state about the progress in setting up a dairy company based on OJSC Savushkin Product. The president gave the instruction to set up a national dairy company to make and process milk by the end of the year during a working trip to Brest Region in late June.
