OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2011. Cargo traffic at Murmansk Sea Fishing Port for 9 recent months of 2011 grew by 17.6% compared to Jan-Sept of 2010, to 247,000 tons, the company said.

In September, the port handled more than 23,000 tons, including 17,600 tons of fish products.
There are now over 11,000 tons of fish stored in the port’s refrigerators (storage capacity – 16,000 tons). On October 14 the trawler Nikolai Repnikov brought to the port 350,000 tons of polar cod.

OJSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. In 2010, MSFP handled 305,800 tons of cargo.
