Troika Dialog, one of the leading full-service investment houses in the CIS, today announces the appointment of David Walker as Managing Director in its Investment Banking Division. David will report to Co-heads of Investment Banking, Igor Sagiryan and newly appointed Todd Berman. He took up his new role at Troika Dialog on 18th October, 2011.

Mr Walker brings a long track record of experience in investment banking accrued over 25 years, with the last decade dedicated to the Russian capital markets. He was most recently Managing Director of Investment Banking for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Citibank, leading a 40-strong team based in London. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in Moscow where he was responsible for building one of the largest investment banking teams in Russia and advising on some of the biggest deals in the market, including the USD 5 billion TNK-BP transaction.

Throughout his investment banking career, David has worked across multiple international markets including in Africa and Europe while at Nomura and in Japan while at Daiwa. He started his career as a lawyer at Linklaters in London.
