OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2011. ANA, Japan's leading carrier, announced today that the “Inspiration of Japan” service brand and products will be introduced to the Los Angeles=Narita (Tokyo) route, operated with the Boeing 777-300ER, on January 21, 2012.

To commemorate the introduction of the new service and products, ANA will host a showcasing event on Wednesday, January 9, 2012 at the JW Marriott at LA Live, Diamond Ball Room (located at 900 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015). There will be First, Business and Economy class mock-up seats displayed, as well as a product presentation and Business-class meal display.

Invited guests will include VIPs and travel agencies. Members of the media will be invited to the media preview from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (check-in will start at 4 p.m.)

There will also be a public viewing of the Business and Economy class seats at Mitsuwa Marketplace (near the front entrance) in Torrance (located at 21515 S. Western Ave., Torrance, CA 90501) on Saturday, November 19, 2011 and Sunday, November 20, 2011. Everybody is welcome to stop by.

The newly fitted aircraft will include greatly enhanced Business and Economy class cabin products. With “ANA BUSINESS STAGGERED” every Business class seat has aisle access due to our perfectly staggered seat configuration. The seat reclines 180 degrees to become a fully flat bed. Every seat also comes with the largest in class 17-inch LCD touch panel wide screen monitor on which passengers can enjoy 160 programs of digital AVOD movies, video, music and games.

Our Economy class is equipped with “Fixed-Back Shell” seats that each feature a sliding headrest and adjustable footrest, ensuring passengers are able to relax without having their space invaded. All Economy class seats are equipped with the largest in class 10.6-inch LCD touch panel monitors. In addition, seats feature a lap top power port, *1iPod connector and USB port to enjoy personal music and photos on board.

The new First class cabin is designed to provide a private environment with high-panel walls furnished in contemporary wood tones on both the exterior and interior. A large adjustable table with an intricate wood finish adds a touch of elegance and sophistication. Passengers can enjoy a wide range of entertainment in their personal theater with the largest in class 23-inch LCD wide screen monitor.

ANA is the first airline to install warm-water “*2Washlets” (bidet-toilets) in First and Business class cabins. These high-tech Washlets were developed in collaboration with TOTO, Jamco and Boeing.

Initially introduced in 2010 to New York, Frankfurt and London routes, Los Angeles is the third ANA gateway in the United States to launch the “Inspiration of Japan” service and products. The Paris=Narita route introduced the popular service brand earlier this month and will be followed by the San Francisco route in December.
