OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2011. A project UNDP and the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “Local Governance Support: Participation and Partnership” prepared investment project on development of sanatoria and health resort in Chartaq district of Namangan region (eastern part of Uzbekistan).

Within the project, it is offered to create of sanatoria and health mini-complex Chartak Hillside Spa & Resort.

Project expert Jamshid Hamraev said that Chartaq, thanks to its unique hot mineral water, which is rich iodide-bromine and other microelements, has all pre-conditions to become one of the popular spa-resorts in the region.

He said that in line with calculations, made during preparation of investment proposal, the spa complex will be located at 1.6 hectares and can accept up to 80 people. In line with the project, the complex will include six luxury cottages (for 5 persons each), one sleeping complex “Corporate” (for 12 persons) and sleeping complex “Pansionat” (for 38 persons), as well hydropathic complex.

Hamraev underlined that the complex will render such services as medical diagnosis and treatment, SPA-procedures, and other water-treatment procedures, manual therapy, phytotherapy, dietotherapy, tours to sights and event organization, if the investment project implemented successfully.
