For the company it is extremely important that our gift, i.e. connection to the World Wide Web, is safe for schoolchildren. Therefore, Kyivstar places great emphasis on teaching the principles of children’s behavior in the Internet. We have conducted a number of conferences for pedagogical staff, where we talked about problems, shared experience and distributed the manuals on children’s safety on the Web."
Kyivstar carries out systematic work to ensure the children’s safety in the Internet. Since 2009 the company has carried out a Kyivstar social program "The Children’s Safety in the Internet," aimed at protecting children from threats online. Within the program’s framework the operator, in partnership with the Institute of Psychology named after H.S. Kostyuk, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, created a "white list" of the recommended children’s sites, on the basis of which a free service "Parents? control", was developed to protect children from online threats when using the Internet from the mobile phone.
