OREANDA-NEWS. February 7, 2012. In 2011 agricultural holding HarvEast invested over UAH 4 million in social infrastructure of the regions where its assets operate.

The funds were used to support schools, kindergartens, hospitals, supply tap water, light the streets and provide free transportation for children to schools and kindergartens.

“Social responsibility is an important part of HarvEast business. At present the Holding is developing a string of programmes and projects to improve the quality of life of people in the regions of our operations. We are going to present them in the near future,” commented HarvEast Communications Director Nonna Shmidik.

“In early 2012 the Holding established a dedicated Social Fund to continue financing social programmes and maintain social infrastructure of the regions of our presence.”
