OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. “Myskovskaya Elektrosetevaya Organizatsia” Ltd. submitted a confirmation to the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Kemerovo Region (Kemerovo OFAS Russia) that the company terminated a violation of the antimonopoly law – a copy of a contract with a physical person for the services for technological connection to power supply networks, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier the antimonopoly body received a complaint about unlawful actions of power supply network – evading a contract with a physical person.

Kemerovo OFAS Russia found that actions of “Myskovskaya Elektrosetevaya Organizatsia” Ltd. had signs of violating Clause 5 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” and issued a warning to stop the violation – to conclude a contract for the services for technological connection to power supply networks by 7th February 2012.

“We started using in practice a new form of the antimonopoly sanctions to suppress abusing market dominance by economic entities. In this case we have been able to restore the infringed citizen’s rights with the shortest possible period without applying punitive sanction to the violator. Therefore, we can already make statements about efficiency of the recent changes to the antimonopoly law”, pointed out the Head of Kemerovo OFAS Russia, Ms. Natalia Kukharskaya.
