OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2012. Following customers' need for a more accessible help desk, Bank VTB (Kazakhstan) switched on a new short number for mobile telephones - 5050, which is free of charge for Kcell, Activ and Beeline customers. It is expected that this service will soon also be available for Tele2 clients, reported the press-centre of KASE.

In addition to 5050, the bank's customers can contact the help desk by usual fixed line numbers. Use of modern telecommunications means allows provision of centralized processing of incoming customer calls from all cities where there is a branch of the bank. Clients dialing fixed line numbers of the bank in their regions, are automatically switched over to a multi-channel number of the help desk in Almaty, +7 (727) 330 50 50.

Chairman of VTB (Kazakhstan), Sergei Gussarov, thinks the launch of the mobile number 5050 should especially fit those customers who are mostly on the move. "The modern customer wishes to be mobile and actively uses a mobile phone for obtaining services, including banking. That's why we offered to our clients an easy-to-remember, and the most important thing, toll-free mobile number of our help desk. Our bank now keeps in touch with the customer, wherever you are, and our specialists will advise you on the bank's services and products, answer your questions, help you choose a convenient time and branch for your visit".

Presently, the help desk of the Bank VTB (Kazakhstan) operates uninterruptedly, on business days - from 9:00 to 20:00 o'clock, at Saturdays - from 9:00 to 15:00 o'clock (Astana time). Day-off - Sunday. Plastic cards holders support operates round the clock, tel. in Almaty: +7 (727) 330-43-43.
