OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2012. Bank Vozrozhdenie summarized the results of bank card business in 2011: turnover on card accounts reached Rub 167 mln, up 11% in comparison to 2010, reported the press-centre of Bank Vozrozhdenie.

Bank card business is one of the key revenue sources for the bank: in 2011 it represented 25% of total fee and commission income of the bank. In 2011 net fee income from bank cards climbed by 12.8% in comparison to the previous year, number of companies — payroll clients of the bank reached 13 thousand.

In 2011 Bank Vozrozhdenie issued more than 270 thousand cards to new clients. Thus, as of January 2012 the bank had more than 1.3 million of active cards.

“In the previous year we have replaced the informational service “Your account 7?24” by the platform “Vbank with you” that implies active accounts operations via Internet and mobile phone. Dozens of thousands of our clients appreciated convenience, user-friendliness and security of the product: since the 4th quarter of 2011 more than 100 thousand payments were settled via Internet and mobile phone”, — commented Mark Hakhmanovich, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.

“We started active promotion of self-service operations on ATMs. Now a quarter of all bank card operations of our clients do not involve cash. Upon introduction of “Vbank with you” service we have provided our clients with opportunity to comfortably settle their regular non-cash payments. In 2012 we plan to increase the share of operations via Internet and mobile phone to 50%”, — added Mark Nakhmanovich.

As of January 1, 2012 the bank had 785 ATMs, including 155 with cash-in service. The majority of such ATMs are located in retail offices — it affords our clients to save time while proceeding settlements and depositing accounts without waiting in queues.

Currently the bank serves almost 3.3 thousand sales points with banking cards payment facility. Bank Vozrozhdenie is the Principal Member of international payment systems Visa and MasterCard and has its own processing center since 1998. All cards of the bank have chips.
