OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2012. The international financial magazine Euromoney has named Nordea the best provider of private banking services in the Nordic and Baltic region in a Euromoney 2012 survey, reported the press-centre of Nordea.

According to Gunn W?rsted, head of the Wealth Management business area at Nordea, it is very encouraging to receive this award once again. „It is a recognition of Nordea’s employees and managers in Private Banking all over the region and it inspires us to continue our efforts to deliver great customer experiences,“ W?rsted said. It is the fourth time that Nordea is at the top of this ranking.

Vahur Kraft, Head of Nordea Estonia, said that development of private banking service has been one of Nordea’s priorities and the recognition proves the success of the current strategy. „The Euromoney prize is a positive feedback on Nordea’s focus on the customer. It testifies to Nordea’s strength in both Baltic and Nordic countries,“ Kraft said and added that Nordea will continue taking large steps in developing our services and customer relations this year.

Nordea is the largest Private Bank in the Nordic region. Assets under management were EUR 50.9 billion at the end of 2011.

Euromoney has ranked best banks for years and in the area of private banking it evaluates safety of services, quality of customer relations, product selection and a number of other indicators. Its rank tables cover different types of financial establishments across the world.
