OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. The Reserve Bank of India has launched the 9th round of the survey on Foreign Collaboration in Indian Industry for the reference period 2010-11. The survey schedule is available on the RBI website (www.rbi.org.in, select Forms > Surveys). Corporates which have entered into the Foreign Collaboration Agreement (financial collaboration through equity participation and/ or Technical collaboration), are requested to download the survey schedule from the RBI website and forward the requested information in soft copy (Excel format) by email on or before March 15, 2012. Clarification required, if any, in this regard, may also be addressed to the email id.

The Reserve Bank of India has instituted the Foreign Collaboration Survey in 1965, with the objective of collecting comprehensive information relating to the nature, pattern and operation of the foreign collaboration agreements (both financial collaboration through equity participation and technical collaboration). Information collected through the survey serves as an input for the policy formulation. The 8th round of survey was conducted in 2010 for the reference period 2007-08 to 2009-10.
