OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. In 2010-2011, in accordance with its Development Strategy, Novikombank actively expanded its business volumes. During this period, the Bank’s assets increased by over 150% to RUB 100bn, while the rate of growth was several times higher than that of the Russian banking system as a whole.

Thanks to its effective work and the strengthening of its cooperation with clients and partners in strategic sectors, Novikombank is now one of Russia’s 50 largest banks. According to the Interfax 100 ranking, Novikombank has risen 34 places during the past two years and as at 1 January 2012 ranked 46th among Russia’s largest financial institutions in terms of assets.

Today, Russian industry accounts for roughly 60% of the Bank’s loan portfolio. For its contribution to the development of the real sector, the Bank has won a number of prestigious awards, including Most Dynamically Developing Bank in Russia, the Association of Russian Banks’ Leader of financing of the national economy, the Financial Olympics award in the category Potential and Prospects, and the Expert Rating Agency award For contribution to the development of the Russian industrial sector.

This year and in the years to come, the Bank will continue to expand its operations on the Russian financial market. The Bank intends to increase its lending to the real sector and continue developing its mix of innovative services, including treasury services and financing clients’ international operations using modern international financial instruments. Novikombank’s dynamic growth will also be supported by the expansion of its operations in the regions through the Bank’s branch network, which was launched in 2011 with the opening of offices in Rostov-on-Don, Togliatti, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Zhukovsky and Samara.

Implementation of the measures set forth in the Development Strategy will be the basis for further expansion of Novikombank’s competitive positions and the strengthening of its status as a key financial institution for domestic industry.
