OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2012. Fitch Ratings introduced new Viability Rating on financial institutions around the world. These rating represent the agency’s assessment of financial institutions creditworthiness. Fitch emphasizes that the launched product does not betoken a fundamental change in its approach to bank ratings or a change in opinion on the creditworthiness of rated entities. The long-Term Issuer Default Rating (IDR) will remain the primary issuer rating for financial institutions, and is driven by an issuer’s Viability Ratings and its Support Rating. The Viability Ratings reflect the same core risks as existing Individual Ratings but with greater granularity and on a more familiar rating scale.

Commercial Bank GLOBEX has high ratings of the two leading international rating agencies: Standard & Poor’s и Fitch Ratings.
