OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2012. Moscow Arbitration Court confirmed legitimacy of the decision made by the Federal Administrative Service (FAS Russia) to impose an administrative fine – 100,000 Rubles – upon “Eisk Seaport” OJSC, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 5th December 2011, FAS found that “Eisk Seaport” OJSC committed an antimonopoly offence violating the standards for disclosing information regarding regulated activities of the holders of natural monopolies. It was in breach of Part 1 Article 19.8.1 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Antimonopoly Violations.

“Eisk Seaport” OJSC failed to report to FAS Russia the sources of information about regulated activities of holders of natural monopolies, specifying the print media, where official materials of public authorities must be published in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation.

“Eisk Seaport” OJSC disagreed with FAS determination and filed a lawsuit. Moscow Arbitration Court fully confirmed legitimacy of FAS determination.
