OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Finance and with the participation of the National Bank within the week to pass to consideration of the Government the analysis of the work of domestic industry for the current year and proposals on mobilization of the competitive advantages of the Ukrainian economy in a negative impact of the global financial crisis. Respective commission Prime Minister made at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Mykola Azarov noted that preliminary analysis of the results of the economy in January of this year showed that negative factors influence the development of our country. According to him the role played the rapid increase in gas prices, and abnormal cold, and that in January this year was to 2 working days less than last year.

The Prime Minister said: the Ministry of Economic Development and trade must make a detailed analysis of the industry for the current year, "How did work manufacturing industry, metallurgy, construction, where the objective reasons were, and where we need stimulating intervention."

"So I commend the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Finance during the week submit to the Government an appropriate analysis and suggestions. I ask to involve to this work the National Bank of Ukraine. Therefore it is quite clear that the economy now needs credit support for the best interest rates" - Mykola Azarov said.

The Head of Government stressed that today we should focus on implementation of major infrastructure projects in construction, including roads and road junctions, a significant increase in the share of domestic goods in domestic market. "It should be concentrated efforts and resources of the country on agricultural production in those industries where we can start a quick increase in production of competitive products" - Mykola Azarov said, noting that from today at government sessions will be heard reports of ministries and departments of the program development of domestic production.

"All this is the issue of survival of the state in a new wave of global financial crisis. We must realize that the current crisis, given its global scope, tomorrow not finish", - Mykola Azarov said, adding: "How long it takes, even economic oracles can not predict. It showed at least a recent forum in Davos. The world has not passed through such tests. This is a consequence of economic globalization. Clearly, political crises interrupt to overcome the economic crises which are unfolding in the world. That is we all also need to understand".
