OREANDA-NEWS.  On the 21st of February in Vladimir a MCLR Ltd. plant was inaugurated. This is Russia’s first producer of boards for electronic devices, primarily, for light-emitting-diode lamps which require fast heat removal. It is also the largest resident of the Industrial Park of VPA Tochmash.

The project participants are RUSNANO, Venture Fund Tamir Fishman CiG, and the Israeli company which developed the technology, Micro Components Ltd. The project total budget amounts to RUB868 million, including co-financing by RUSNANO in an amount of RUB120 million.

The launch of a new high technology production facility in the Industrial Park is the result of close cooperation of the Fuel Company of ROSATOM TVEL, Vladimir Region Administration and RUSNANO aimed at production replacement at Tochmash and development of a general industry business. “For our enterprise one of essential issues is the effective use of main assets which are being released as a result of the optimized utilization of our production site. The cooperation with the regional administration allows solving these issues with regard to both creating new jobs and mastering new technologies with involvement of new partners such as MCLR,” Vladimir Akhmadyshev, Director General of VPA Tochmash, said at the inauguration ceremony.

We have selected this site because Tochmash has all necessary infrastructure and the facility is located not far from Moscow and the major regional university – the Vladimir State University – has a good level of training the staff we need, Uri Mirsky, Founder and CEO of Micro Components Ltd., said.
