OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2012. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the National Investment Program for 2012. The head of state signed the relevant decree.

Some Br3568.7 billion will be funneled into the program. The National budget will provide Br3560.2 billion, including Br76.4 billion will come from the presidential fund and Br706 billion from the targeted budget fund for national development.

The program envisages the construction of 303 socially important facilities.

The money from the special presidential fund will be used to revamp the building of the Yanka Kupala National Academic Drama Theater. The targeted budget fund for national development will finance the construction (reconstruction) of Belarusfim studio facilities, the Student's Village, the Raubichi Center and the nuclear power plant, and other projects.
