OREANDA-NEWS. February 27, 2012. Belarus’ OJSC Olivaria, a brewery based in the city of Minsk, produced 761,000 decaliters of beer in 2011, an increase of 59.2% on the year, a representative in Belgospischeprom concern told reporters.

Beer offering in plastic bottles rose 56.2% to 581,000 decaliters, in glass bottles rose 79.9% to 149,000 decaliters, and in kegs fell 6.4% to 16,000 decaliters. Beer offering in cans reached 15,000 decaliters (Olivaria did not procude canned beer in January 2011).

Olivaria beer sales on the domestic market rose 15.7% on the year in 2011 to 490,400 decaliters.

The brewery exported 9,900 decaliters of beer in 2011, up 180%.

Olivaria was founded in 1864 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1994. Olivaria became part of Carlsberg A/S in May 2008.
