OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2012. Cargo throughput at the port Temryuk in January-February plummeted by approximately 44 percent year-on-year to 190,540 tons.

In the reporting period, exports volumes dropped by 41% to 183,300 tons, imports slumped by 57.8% to 4,810 tons. The number of calls decreased by 71% to 55 ships.

Port of Temryuk is located on the Taman seashore of the Azov Sea. The berths of total length of 1,200 rm are equipped for handling general cargoes, round timber, lumber, food products, metals and oversized cargoes.  In 2011, cargo traffic at the port of Temryuk rose to 2.34 million tons (vs 1.95mln in 2010).
