OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. According to the factual data the volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in January 2012 was equal to 4 million 591 thou. tons. Comparing to the same period of 2011 the volume of oil transportation decreased by 75 thou. tons, or by 2% (fact for January 2011 was equal to 4 million 666 thou. tons).

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in the January 2012 was equal to 2 billion 816 million tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator decreased by 330 million tons per km or by 10% (fact for January 2011 comprised 3 billion 146 million tons km).

Volume of oil transportation via the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” to the refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan upon the results of January 2012 equaled to 1 mln. 155 th.tons (volume of oil transportation in January 2011 amounted to 1 mln. 153 th.tons of oil).

Reduction of oil transportation volumes in January 2012 (in comparison with January 2011) emerged due to reduction of volume of Russian oil deliveries to refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January 2012, the volume of water supply equals to 1 million 788 thou. cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2011, the volume has increased by 70 thou. cubic meters or by 4%.
