Are customers satisfied with KAMAZ trucks? This question was answered by purchasers of vehicles in the course of monitoring which was carried out by the auto giant.

As it turned out, customers were very loyal to KAMAZ’s brand in 2011 – 71% of customers bought, will buy and will advise their friends to buy KAMAZ trucks. KAMAZ managed to achieve such a successful result due to high consumer properties of the whole range of vehicles series-produced by the company.

Among the models which received positive feedback from customers were the KAMAZ-6520 heavy-duty truck, the KAMAZ-65117 high-sided vehicle, and the KAMAZ-65115 truck. All these vehicles are made of components produced by the world`s leading manufacturers, are equipped with new Cummins and KAMAZ diesel engines, ZF gearboxes manufactured by ZF KAMA Joint Venture, as well as restyled cabs which are far more comfortable for drivers than their older versions.

According to customers, they are mainly satisfied with the following properties of KAMAZ vehicles: cross-country ability, carrying capacity, maintainability, availability of spare parts, and ability to adapt to heavy road conditions. The total index of satisfaction with OJSC KAMAZ’s products and services made 7.8 out of possible 10 scores on the average for 2011. KAMAZ’s competitors – MAZ and UralAZ – scored 6.5.

KAMAZ is also the leader by such characteristics as "warranty service" and "pricing", offering its clients high-quality service and the best offer for its products in the “quality-price” ratio.

Assessment of customers’ satisfaction is a "litmus test" demonstrating trends of continuous improvements, which is one of the most important principles of the quality management system.
