OREANDA-NEWS. June 4, 2012. Citibank Launches Citi Mobile – Banking Application for Mobile Phones.

Citibank has announced launch of its Mobile Bank application to empower its clients to access and manage their accounts using any Internet connections that are supported by their mobile phone.

An updated version of Citi Mobile is available for all mobile phones whose devices support any internet connections at www.mobile.citibank.ru, and as a mobile phone application for iOS and Android* platforms.

"The number of Citi Mobile bank users has grown two times between 2010 and 2011. Just in March, our clients made over 350,000 transactions with their mobile phones, says Tatiana Shpakova, Alternate Channels Director at Citibank. – The Citi Mobile application is designed to save the time of our customers and make the management of accounts easier, quicker, and more convenient."

Citi Mobile allows the bank’s customers to view account information, including latest transactions; pay mobile, Internet, television, utility and other bills; transfer funds between accounts, including currency exchange at Citibank’s rate; transfer funds across Russia; open time deposits; and view Citibank’s current exchange rates. Citi Mobile can also help locate a Citibank ATM, branch or Citigold center in the relevant area.

To find the Citi Mobile application for iOS and Android platforms at the App Store** or Google Play,*** they just need to type “Citibank RU” in the search bar.

To log on to Citi Mobile, the client needs to use the same User ID and Password as used to sign on to Citibank Online. If the client does not have a User ID and password yet, they will need to set them up on the Citbank Online sign-on page. These User ID and password will be valid for both Citi Mobile and Citibank Online.
