OREANDA-NEWS. June 4, 2012. Two new reactors for dimethyldioxane and trimethyl carbinol synthesis were put in operation at Nizhnekamskneftekhim’s isoprene-monomer plant within the framework of the program for single-stage isoprene production increase. Isoprene is actually a product of dimethyldioxane decomposition.

All necessary tie-ins were made during last April overhaul.

A total of 48 tie-ins to process pipelines were made, 20 items of equipment and 77 items of piping were installed during the overhaul within the framework of the production increase program.

 Technical upgrading of the isoprene-monomer plant is under way.
