OREANDA-NEWS. June 4, 2012. On June 1, 2012 “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” officially published the Federal Tariff Service (FTS) of Russia order № 80-T/3 dated 04.05.2012 “On approving rates of harbor dues and tariffs in the seaports of the Russian Federation and on making amendments to Appendix 1 of the FTS of Russia order № 522-T/1 dated 20.12.2007 “On approving rates of harbor dues in the seaports of the Russian Federation” registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on May 29, 2012. According to the established procedure for executive power bodies statutes and regulations to become operative, this document comes into force on the whole territory of the Russian Federation within 10 days after its official publication, i.e. from 00:00 June 12, 2012.

According to the FTS of Russia order, the harbor dues and tariffs rates for foreign shipping and cabotage vessels were increased by 5% in average in all seaports of the Russian Federation, except those of Azov, Arkhangelsk, Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Rostov-on-Don, and the seaports of Chukotka.

Terms of icebreaking due in Azov and Rostov-on-Don seaports were reduced to 26 days.

Icebreaking due in Astrakhan, Olya and Ust-Luga seaports was indexed for 10% and 5%.

Navigational due is abolished for vessels bounding for the Saymen canal and back.

In addition, port dues application rules for Azov, Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Vyborg, Vysotsk, Olya and Rostov-on-Don seaports was changed.
